Construction ROI Worksheet

Add up what daily reports, purchase orders, and invoice handling cost your team in a year — using your numbers, not ours.

Nothing here is a promised outcome. The worksheet just does the arithmetic on what you enter.

This worksheet is an estimating aid built on your inputs and your assumptions (50 working weeks per year). It is not a quote, a promise, or a projection of what Punch will save your company.

Want this worksheet built against your real operation?

During the proposal process, we scope your operation together and build a personalized version of this math with you. Every Punch proposal targets 5–10x the value of what Punch costs — and if it doesn't pencil, we'll tell you honestly.

How to use this worksheet

The hardest part of building a business case for any operations change is that the cost of the current process is invisible — it's spread across a dozen people in 15- and 30-minute increments. This worksheet makes it visible: count the recurring paperwork your team touches (daily reports, POs, supplier invoices, and the rest), estimate the time each one takes, and put your own hourly cost on that time.

Where it helps, borrow structure from how one drywall contractor walked through the same math: they went line by line through where time and money were leaking, kept the assumptions conservative, and added it up over a year.

What the numbers mean — and what they don't

The totals are a measurement of your current process, computed from your inputs. The "if you cut this work by" figure is your assumption, applied to your total — a way to test what different outcomes would be worth to you, not a claim about what any tool will deliver.

When contractors get serious about the decision, we do this same exercise together against their real operation as part of the Punch proposal process. Every proposal targets 5–10x the value of what Punch costs; that's the target we underwrite in the proposal, and if the math doesn't pencil for your operation, we'll say so.

It's a working session, not a slide deck. Bring a real PO, an invoice, or a daily report. You'll use Punch on it live.
