PRODUCT: TOOLBOX TALKS

Prepare the talk. Lead the crew. Keep the record.

Punch keeps the script, the crew who heard it, and the saved record together on the project — so a foreman can run the morning huddle without juggling a printout, a sign-in sheet, and a folder.

The script the crew hears is the one that was reviewed, one readable section at a time.
THE PROBLEM

The talk, the sign-in sheet, and the record live in different places

A foreman pulls a topic from last year’s binder, reworks it the night before, and passes around a clipboard after the huddle. The script is in one place, the names are on paper, and the record ends up in a truck or a shared drive.

Punch keeps the talk attached to the job. Start from content your company already uses, get it reviewed, present it from the browser, confirm who was there, and keep what was actually delivered with the people who heard it.

HOW PUNCH HANDLES IT

Five steps from the library to the record

Each talk moves through clear states — ready, in progress, given — so a prepared script is never mistaken for a talk that happened.

  1. 01

    Prepare

Start from reusable company-library content. Pick the project, start now or schedule it, and choose the presenter where you have access.

  2. 02

    Review

Someone with review permission checks the content and marks it reviewed. Safety content is approved by people, not by Punch.

  3. 03

    Present

Open Present talk and walk the crew through the script one readable section at a time, with Back and Next.

  4. 04

    Confirm

Check off the crew or add guests. Attendance is what the facilitator confirms; signatures are optional.

  5. 05

    Record

Finish the talk and it shows as Given, with the delivered script and saved roster on the project. Download the record as a PDF.

Attendance is what the facilitator confirms. Signatures stay optional.
BID TO BOOKS

Where this sits in the flow

Toolbox Talks sit with the rest of the field record. The talk belongs to the project, next to the daily reports and tasks from the same job, so the people coordinating the work can find what was covered and who was there.
